alright my clan just got their dedi-box up and running last night and they set me as the SA in l4d2 bcuz so far im the only one that has it in the clan could anyone give me a few tips on how to run the server so i need help...

Hello Deathblade , welcome to the forum.

Your provider should be able to install the game and it should run fine , a L4D2 server is very different from most game servers as it is controlled by steam.
No matter what you do to it if someone joins and votes to change something then it will change, the wonder of steam - you pay for it and they will use it.

On a more positive note you could start by reading THIS (http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1000644).

If its modding your server that you want to know about then =OG=Cuz is the person you need to talk to but I dont think he uses x-fire.

Why not install ventrilo and jump on our vent sometime and we should be able to answer some of your questions , our vent detail can be found on the home page.

What else do you play at TKP ?
