They say that this was one of those events where people will always remember exactly where they were and what they were doing at the time it happened. That is so true. I have to go back to the JFK assasination to find another event like that in my life.

I was at work and i can remember my wife calling me soon as the 1st plane hit tower. Then we all turned are radios on the news station needless to say we didn't work much after the second tower got hit.

I was at work. One of the other guys their told me that a plane hit the first tower. I told him that there was no way it was an accident. Not to long after I was walked into the break room. I was watching the TV for about 30 seconds then the second plane hit. Most of the people who worked on the floor were glued to the TV then. After about 10 minutes the warehouse manager walked in and made everyone go back to work. I think most of the guys wanted to swear a jihad on his face.

Sorry this reply is so untimely. On 9/11 I proudly put on my American flag shirt and headed off to work. I work at a busy clinic with people in and out all day. I was incredibly sad to find that only one other person wore a flag and almost NO ONE coming in had anything patriotic.
I was truly bummed all day - I CAN'T believe so many people just forget or don't care enough to show any patriotism.:sad::sad:
Puddy and I are going to NYC next week and our first stop will be ground zero.
